BUYING TICKETS AT THE TRAIN STATION:

  • You can always buy the tickets at the train station
  • Most bigger stations have an international counter where you can buy the tickets
  • Open times are usually from 4 am till at least midnight (not the local stations)
  • Seat reservations are sold separately (cost about 4 EUR)
  • One-way 2nd class ticket costs 41 EUR, single 1st class ticket costs 64 EUR

DISCOUNTS:

  • Group discounts are provided only for 6 or more travelers
  • No senior / student discounts are available
  • For weekend discounts ask at the counter

HINT: If you are 2 or more persons, you can ask for a group discount for the part of the journey, which lies on Czech territory (it means from Prague to Břeclav). Like this the tickets will be cheaper.
